Veneers are ultra-thin porcelain shells that are bonded to the teeth to mask undesirable defects such as: gaps, chipped, broken or discolored teeth. Veneers can also change the size and shape of front teeth to make them proportional.
Composite (tooth-colored) fillings are a non-metal restorative material. It is bonded to the tooth and hardened with an intense light. It is a more conservative restoration compared to the Amalgam (mercury) fillings.
Porcelain Inlays/Onlays (also known as indirect fillings) are porcelain materials fabricated in a dental laboratory and is adhesively bonding in to place. It is the most conservative cosmetic way to treat teeth with decay or structural damage.
Crowns or "caps" are restorations that cover a tooth to restore it to it's normal shape and size. Crowns are generally necessary when a tooth is broken down beyond repair or is weakened due to trauma and/or decay. Crowns are fixed, providing strength to teeth and are created to look like natural teeth.
A bridge is a dental appliance that is used to replace one or more missing teeth. A bridge typically consists of three units - a pontic (a false tooth) fused between two crowns that are cemented to teeth adjacent to the missing tooth. When the adjacent teeth are healthy and don't contain large fillings a "Maryland" bridge may be the most economical choice. The pontic of a "Maryland" bridge is fused to bands that are cemented to the back of the adjacent teeth, hidden from view and reducing the amount of tooth structure removed. This option is primarily used for front teeth.
Gingival Recontouring is the removal of excess or overgrowth gum tissue to give the tooth more length or height without removing tooth structure.
Teeth Whitening is bleaching of the teeth to enhance the appearance of your teeth that are stained from poor oral hygiene, smoking, food, and drinks (coffee, tea, or red wine).
Invisalign is an alternative solution to straighten your teeth without bands, brackets or wires. Invisalign is invisible, removable, and comfortable which allows you to maintain healthier teeth and gums.
